A bit of vintage
This cute little nursery rhyme plate was mine when I was a little girl. Since my mom is a pack rat like me, she kept some things from mine and my brother's childhood. As hard of a struggle as it is to overcome being a pack rat since I grew up with one, I really have appreciated the fact that my mom kept some of my childhood things. Especially now that I am a mom myself. I love seeing Ronnie use this plate knowing that 30-some years ago I was using it too! It is a nice melamine too, better than some of the newer plastic plates today.
And now that we have Elise, I am super excited that she will get to use my old doll cradle and high chair for her dolls when she gets older! As well as my Cabbage Patch kids and my favorite plastic headed baby doll too. Do you have any of your childhood items that you have passed down to your kids?

jeffs mom saved tons of their stuff too and it really blesses me
an aside...what do you know about the melamine? i've wondered if it is better.
I don't know much about melamine, I have not researched it actually. But I feel like it is safer than some of the newer, softer plastic toddler plates out there today. I have two of them and I am not too happy with the quality.
