Yummy raw chocolate treat recipes
Enzyme Chocolate

Chocolate Icing/Fudge on a Spoon
Ingredients:
1 C. Raw honey-
3/4 C. Coconut oil (Cold pressed) melted
1 C. Coco powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 C. Toasted Pecans(optional)
Peppermint extract or essential oil to taste(optional)
Directions:
Stir ingredients well
Option 1
use as icing on top of a Cake.
Option 2
Grease pan with coconut oil then fill with mixture. Chill for Fudge on a Spoon.
Chocolate Moose Cookies/Moose Icing
1/3 C. Raw coconut oil (do not melt oil)
3/4 C. Coco Powder
1/2 C. Raw honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
pinch salt
Blend on high for 3 minutes. Use fork to crush any remaining coconut oil clumps. Blend one minute more. Spoon on to cake or spoon small cookie drops onto wax paper and chill until firm.
Dark Chocolate Coconut balls/Chocolate Energy Bar
2 C. Coconut flakes (not sweetened)
1 C. Coco Powder
1 C. Raw honey
1/2 C. Almond butter
1 pinch of salt
Blend for 30 seconds. Scrape sides of bowl and blend 1 minute. Roll in small balls. Roll balls in coconut. Chill
For Energy Bars-add 1/2 C. more coconut. Press until it is about 1/2 an inch thick. Chill. Cut into bars.
It is great with a banana!

Quote and some thoughts
I came across this quote in an e-mail someone sent me:
Live in such a way that those who know you but do not know God, will come to know God because they knew you.
This has me thinking very deeply about my own life and how I live it, not only in front of others, but also in private. Do I really live this out loud for all to see? Do I talk about God and His word with others? Do I show the love and mercy of Jesus to others? Do I live like I am a follower of Jesus Christ?
I am glad I found this quote, it is forcing me to really examine my heart and my life, and to ask the Lord to show me the areas where I need to change, and to be a bolder witness for Him.

Before I was a Mom
Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.
Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom .

Devotional for today
Our Hope for Years to Come
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.
Psalm 28:7

This verse provides a happy formula for the New Year. Notice the progression.
First, we realize that the Lord is our strength and shield. No matter what unfolds from day to day or from month to month, He’ll give us sufficient strength, and His presence will surround us as a shield.
Second, our hearts can fully trust Him. We can relax, rest, and lean on Him, knowing He is fully able to do all He has promised.
Third, as we recognize who He is and trust Him, we are helped. There’s no sense of panic as it relates to the uncertain future. He helps us in everything at every time. The past, the present, and the future are His.
Fourth, our heart can therefore rejoice. Today is a day for a joyful and glad attitude. And that leads to a song of praise. We can have a hymn in our hearts today—like this one: “O God our Help in ages past, our hope for years to come; be Thou our Guide while life shall last, and our eternal home.”
Under the shadow of Thy throne Thy saints have dwelt secure; sufficient is Thine arm alone, and our defense is sure.
