Cell phone babies

We watched Blaise a few nights ago.  I had found our old cell phones for Ronnie to play with.  It was just too cute watching them push buttons on the phones, it looked like they are texting each other!  LOL!!  Just like their mommies do back and forth!

Meeting Clifford the big red dog

Ronnie and I met Roman and his mommy Kimberly at Barnes and Noble this morning so the boys could meet Clifford.  As you can see by their faces, they really liked him!

Atheist holiday

This is a joke that was e-mailed to me, so I had to post it here because it cracked me up!



In Florida , an atheist created a case against the
upcoming Easter & Passover holy days. He hired an
attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews &
observances of their holy days. The argument was it was unfair that atheists
had no such recognized day(s).





The case was brought before a judge.
After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge
banged his gavel declaring, 'Case dismissed.'





The lawyer immediately stood objecting
to the ruling saying, 'Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case?
The Christians have
Christmas, Easter & others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur & Hanukkah. Yet my client & all
other atheists have no such holidays.'





The judge leaned forward in his chair
saying, 'But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant.' The lawyer
said, 'Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for
atheists.'





The judge said, 'The calendar says
April 1st is 'April Fools Day.'
Psalm 14:1 states 'The fool says in his heart, there is no
God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there
is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his
day.





Court is
adjourned.

Ronnie's first snow

This was the fist snow we've had this winter, and could possibly be all we get.  Daddy made Ronnie a snowball, this was the first time Ronnie ever touched snow.  Then a little later this morning, we went outside with our neighbor Blaise and watched the boys discover the snow for the first time.  We sure had fun!

Here are the lyrics to one of my absolute favorite Christmas hymns. I plan to post the lyrics to some my favorites ones as we lead up to Christ's birth. You can read the passion and conviction the writer had to proclaim Christ's birth and His salvation.

Christmas hymns

I just love the Christmas hymns that we sing in church during the Christmas season!  We sang some yesterday at church, and we'll be singing them every Sunday through Christmas.  There have not been too many other Christmas songs written since the hymns that truly reflect the real meaning of this season of  Christ's birth.  The writers of the days of old had such passion and conviction to share the message of Christ and the cross to the whole world.  And you can hear it in the lyrics they wrote, and the wonderful music that accompanies it.  In my opinion, there are just not many "new" songs out there that even come close to those wonderful hymns of Christmas.  Here is a neat site where you can find the song sheet and lyrics to all the Christmas hymns.  I hope you enjoy them this Christmas season as much as I do!  Time to turn on some Christmas music here in the house!

Vintage Fisher Price farm set

This is the exact same farm set that I had when I was little.  My mom found it and bought it for Ronnie for Christmas.  And he loves to play with it!  I think I am enjoying playing with it just as much as he is!  Some of the vintage toys are just better than the new ones.  They don't make them as "realistic" looking as they used to.
